Daphne SullivanDaphne Sullivan

Daphne Sullivan was born in Washington D.C. into a military family. She was raised in Alabama where she obtained her B.S. in English and graduated with honors from Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated with a Masters of Education with a concentration in English education from the University of North Alabama. She obtained her legal education at Cumberland School of Law. As a law student, she received awards in Legal Research and Writing as well as Criminal Procedure for her academic performance.

After law school and passing the Alabama bar, Daphne began working with a firm in Birmingham that specialized in Social Security Disability benefits. She moved to Atlanta in 2011 and continued her work in the field of Social Security Disability at an Atlanta law firm. She now represents claimants at Stevens & Sullivan.

Throughout her career, Daphne has represented over a thousand claimants nationwide in their disability claims. She has assisted claimants at all levels of the disability process, including initial application, Request for Reconsideration, and Request for Hearing. She has argued disability claims before Administrative Law Judges in almost every state. She has authored numerous Appeals Council and federal court briefs. She has also spoken to various groups, including the Alabama Liver Foundation and the North Alabama chapter of the Alzheimer's Association regarding the process of obtaining Social Security Disability benefits.
